Oda Tungodden (b. 1992) is a Norwegian painter based between Bergen, Norway, and Cape Town, South Africa. With a practice rooted in figuration, she explores the factors that shape human perception, narratives, and relationships, creating spaces for dialogue, empathy, and connection across cultural and geographical boundaries. Her work extends beyond painting into collaborative, educational, and community-based projects.

Tungodden is the founder of Studio E39 in Bergen and co-founder of Open Loop and Cape Town Life Drawing. She also lectures at the Art Academy, University of Bergen, and facilitates community art workshops in Europe and South Africa. Her work has been presented internationally across Europe and Africa, including at VOLTA Art Fairs in Basel. Following her presentation at Enter Art Fair 2026 with THK Gallery, Tungodden will open a solo exhibition at Kristiansund Kunsthall, Norway.

Wolfgang Flad (b. 1974, Reutlingen, Germany) is a Berlin-based sculptor whose practice spans sculpture, relief, painting, and installation. His work explores the relationship between material, surface, and space through an experimental combination of industrial materials, pigments, and handcrafted techniques. Moving between painting and sculpture, Flad creates layered, textured compositions that investigate transformation, growth, erosion, and the tension between order and organic complexity. Flad has exhibited internationally, including at the Tampa Museum of Art, Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, Kunsthaus Zürich, and Centraal Museum Utrecht. His works are held in public and private collections including the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, Kunsthaus Zürich, Centraal Museum Utrecht, and Tampa Museum of Art.

Karla Nixon (b. 1990) is a visual artist based in Durban, South Africa, whose practice draws primary impetus from direct material exploration, with paper at its core. She constructs images and objects responding to her surrounding environments — urban, domestic, and natural — by hand-cutting, tearing, sculpting, and reassembling. Her work is grounded in an ongoing investigation of how colour, texture, and fragmentation operate as a language of presence, shaping sensorial and emotional encounters. Her artworks are held in private collections in South Africa, Lebanon, Australia, Spain, and Holland, as well as public collections including the Durban Art Gallery, the National Art Bank, and the Leridon Collection. Nixon has also been a finalist in both the Sasol and ABSA Art Awards.

Thomas Wachholz (b. 1984, Cologne, Germany) is a visual artist based in Cologne. His paintings use materials like red phosphorus and geometric shapes to explore how memory and meaning are found in ordinary objects. He often draws inspiration from matchbooks and postcards, reworking them into abstract and symbolic compositions. Wachholz studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, and his work has been shown at the Bundeskunsthalle, Marciano Art Foundation, and Kölnischer Kunstverein. His work is in collections including the Deji Art Museum (China), Marciano Art Foundation (USA), and the Kilbourn Collection (South Africa).

Philip Emde (b. 1976, Mannheim, Germany) is an artist based in Cologne whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, installation, and artist books. His work explores narrative, humour, and the absurdities of everyday life, combining bold colour, fragmented imagery, text, and sculptural elements to create playful yet critically engaged environments. Emde has exhibited internationally across Europe, the United States, and Asia, with works held in collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Tate Library, London, and the Xiao Museum of Contemporary Art, Rizhao, China. He has received notable grants and residencies, including the Rainer Funke Stiftung Prize and Balmoral New York Fellowship. His work has been presented with THK Gallery at Enter Art Fair 2025 and Cape Town Art Fair 2026.
