Dragutin Banić (b. 1979, Remscheid, Germany) studied Fine Arts at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig under Walter Dahn. He has presented solo and two-person exhibitions including Karussell (with Marie Henin, Kunstraum K634, Cologne, 2025), Dragutin Banić (Museum Keramion, Cologne-Frechen, 2025), PICKNICK (Galerie Martin Kudlek, Cologne, 2024), and Ultraviolett (with Patrick Niemann, Z3 Contemporaries, Schwäbisch Hall, 2022). His work has also been included in group shows such as Über den Zaun (DOD Gallery & THK Gallery, Cologne, 2025), Die Grosse NRW (Museum Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf, 2022), and Sculturale la Sussecciva (Conzenhof, Cologne, 2021). He has received several awards and residencies, among them the WIP Residency at Museum Keramion (2024–2025), the Neustart Kultur Arbeitsstipendium (2021–2023), and an Arbeitsstipendium from the City of Cologne.
